We’ve been told by the Pennsylvania Library Association that the end may well be in sight for the almost 100 day long budget battle. While details aren’t yet confirmed, it looks better than we feared but not as good as we’d hoped. How the actual impact will be felt is not yet sure, it will be felt. We will lose something and that means that you – our patrons – will lose something.
Even without knowing the details, I want to thank EVERYONE who wrote, called emailed, faxed, or in any way let their voices be heard in support of libraries.
