Join us at the UDTL - Municipal Branch for fun while we're "Pickin' Up STEAM" concepts.  We'll be learning about pollinator gardens and why they're beneficial. Participants will read The Secret Garden picture book, which is a part of the Longwood Gardens Community Read.  We will start seeds, watch their progress over several weeks, and on May 22nd (depending on weather) plant some of them in an area outside the library to expand our existing pollinator garden.  During the summer children will have the chance to revisit the garden to watch it grow and see what kinds of birds, bees, and butterflies are attracted to it.  Open to children in grades 2-5.
