It's an early dismissal day for the Upper Darby School District! Stop by the Sellers Memorial Branch to make your voice heard in the Mock Ezra Jack Keats (EJK) Awards!

The EJK Award is given annually to an outstanding new writer and new illustrator by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation in partnership with the de Grummond Children’s Literature Collection at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM).

Children from ages 5-12 can participate in the mock awards. You will read and review the nominated books, discuss books using the award criteria, and complete a ballot.

Light refreshments will be served.
